Where it all started. Sidney R. Kauffman (far left), whom I was named after, is seen here in 1942 with his wife, Tina Pagano. As a Yale graduate, he joined the Air Force the day after Pearl Harbor. (Sound familiar. Think 9/11, the day after.)

Me and my brother Sean, with me in the middle while my Great grandmother Pagano looks on and my Mother holds my younger brother Michael. This was a visit made in 1966 to California.

Pictured in 1966, my Great grandparents John and Mary Pagano are crowded in the kitchen for a family dinner in New Haven, CT. Standing to the far right with her signature dark hair is my Grandmother, Tina Pagano (Kauffman).

The Potter Boys seated with their parents, Mary and Malcolm in the family's small Redondo Beach apartment in 1968. A long way from Syracuse University, were they left in 1963 and got eloped in Oakland, CA.

Seen here seated in front with my brother Sean (left) and cousin Michelle (toddler), with my two awesome Aunts, Judy and Joyce, who were proud graduates of Crenshaw High School, thy high school in South Central Los Angeles. Both were about 15 or 16 in this picture from 1966. Judy went off to Cal State LA, while Joyce went back east to Lake Erie College.
