This letter is what a broker should do when terminating a commission agreement with another broker. If you are hesitant to put an agreement like this together, you shouldn't be in the industry.
This was one of my first paychecks in the amount of $18,062.50. Notice how I was charged for training? That's one of the hallmarks of the commercial real estate business in that even a large company will 'nickel and dime' its own brokers!

Commercial real estate brokers, similar to talent agents, mortgage brokers and stock brokers have a high turnover rate, and as such it's important to keep in contact with current, present and prospective clients. Not only is it the professional thing to do, but not so makes it appear as if you're job hopping, which is reflective of instability and bad work habits.
Another shining example of an Investment Marketing Forum for brokers. During my five years of brokerage, you got to see all the familiar faces. Brokers being the vultures they are, it was also an opportune moment to keep tabs on properties that were not moving, and consequently call the owners of the listed properties for purposes of dropping their present broker and listing with you.
